Dr. Sven Richter 

Dr. Sven Richter is a medical doctor with extensive experience in psychiatry, psychotherapy, and ketamine-assisted therapy. He has accompanied hundreds of therapeutic processes in clinical and private practice settings and serves as a medical advisor for psychedelic retreat programs.

His approach is trauma-sensitive, attachment-oriented, and rooted in working with inner parts. He understands that developing awareness and acceptance of our emotions and inner dynamics is key to deeper self-understanding and meaningful personal growth.

A central aspect of his work is the exploration of early attachment experiences, which shape our sense of self, our inner world, and the way we relate to others. At Alegría, he leads the medical screening process and advises on our programs and safety protocols, ensuring a grounded and responsible framework for this work.

​His background includes medical training, a doctorate in neuroscience-related research, and many years of clinical experience across psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine, and addiction treatment.

He has also facilitated over 500 ketamine-assisted sessions and continues to work at the intersection of therapy, research, and modern approaches to mental health.
